How many of your pages are built by an app instead of your theme?
We open your homepage, follow your own links to a collection, a product page and a content page, and read the HTML for the fingerprints page builders leave behind. You get a map of which pages an app owns, which still belong to your theme, and what that dependency costs you the day the app stops — no price guessing, because we cannot see your bill.

What this checks
- Which builder apps left fingerprints in your HTML — PageFly, GemPages, Shogun, Zipify Pages, LayoutHub, EComposer, Booster, Replo, Instant, Beae, Foxify
- Which of your key pages are actually built by one: homepage, a collection, a product page, a content page
- Which apps those pages now depend on — named, never priced, because your bill is not visible from outside your store
- Builder CSS and JS sitting in <head> with nothing to stop it blocking first paint
- Builder scripts that load on pages containing no builder content at all
- How much native theme structure (Shopify sections) survives on the pages a builder took over
FAQ
Does it tell me what my page builder costs me?
No, and it will not guess. We cannot see your Shopify invoice — that needs credentials we deliberately never ask for — and printing a vendor's list price instead would not be your bill either: these apps have free tiers, annual discounts, add-ons and grandfathered rates, and their published plans change whenever the vendor likes. So the report names the apps your pages depend on and marks the cost itself as "could not tell", pointing you at Settings → Billing in your own admin, where the real figure lives.
It says no builder found, but I definitely use one.
Two reasons are possible. First, we read the HTML exactly as your server returned it and never run JavaScript, so a builder that assembles the page in the browser leaves nothing to match. Second, we open at most four pages — your homepage plus one collection, one product and one content page taken from your own links — and the report lists exactly which URLs those were, including any we could not read. A builder used only on a landing page we did not open will not show up. We would rather tell you what we opened than pretend we scanned everything.
Is a page builder always the wrong choice?
No, and this tool does not claim that. A builder buys a non-technical team fast layout changes, and for a store shipping a new landing page every week that trade can be worth it. What it costs is a recurring fee, extra CSS/JS on every page it touches, and pages your theme does not own. This report measures that exposure. Whether it is worth paying is your call, not ours.
Want these pages rebuilt as native theme sections, so the rent stops?
We are a Shopify studio. The audit is free; the fix is yours to make — or ours to ship.
