Beautiful indoor plants, and one nagging question at checkout: "will I actually keep this alive, and will it survive the mail?"
Care-guide UX / logistics clarity / Shopify development
Challenge
Greenhouse Co had strong product and strong photography, but two doubts stalled the sale. First, buyers feared they'd choose a plant too demanding for their light and their attention span. Second, a living thing shipping in a box felt fragile and risky — with no clear answer on timing, packaging or what happens if it arrives damaged. Carts filled and then quietly emptied at the moment of decision.
Our role
We turned expertise into interface. A short "find your match" quiz filters by light, watering effort and pet-safety, and every product page carries a plain-language care level, difficulty badge and living care guide. On the logistics side we made the shipping promise explicit — season-aware timing, insulated packaging shown honestly, and a clear healthy-arrival guarantee — modeled cleanly with metaobjects so it scales across the range.

Result
Removing the two fears at exactly the point they surfaced let more shoppers commit. Quiz-guided visitors converted well above the site average, checkout hesitation on the shipping step eased, and overall conversion rate rose 18%.
