Your store against theirs, one dimension at a time.
Paste two storefronts. We fetch both the same way — one plain, self-identified request each, no JavaScript run, no login — then run the same four checks on each and show you where you lead, where you trail, and where the data does not let anyone claim a winner.
Based on publicly available data only. Informational, not legal advice.
What this checks
- AI and search visibility — what each store's robots.txt asks crawlers to do, and whether products are readable without JavaScript
- Catalogue data — whether each public product feed answers, and how complete the fields in it are
- Home-page image handling — priority hints, srcset, modern formats and the real byte weight of the key images
- Tracking and consent wiring — what each home page sets and loads before a visitor has agreed to anything
- Store-wide blocks — a password page, a noindex directive, or a robots.txt that shuts every crawler out
- Which dimensions could NOT be compared, and exactly why
FAQ
What does the score mean here?
It is your standing against the other store, not a health score. It is the share of the weight we could compare where you came out ahead; a row that is level counts as half. A dimension nobody could measure is left out of the maths entirely rather than counted as a zero, which is why the coverage figure beside the score is part of the answer and not decoration.
Why do some rows say the dimension could not be compared?
Because a comparison needs a readable number from both sides. If one storefront returns a bot challenge, a 429, a password page, or simply too little for that check to reach half coverage, we mark the dimension not compared. We will not hand you the round because the other store blocked our request — that would be a made-up win.
Is this a full audit of either store?
No. Four engines run, on the home page, one product page and a few public files. Checkout, payments, pricing, apps, inventory, email, ads, real-device speed and anything that needs JavaScript or a login are all outside what this can see. The report says so on every page rather than implying coverage it does not have.
Want the dimensions you trail on fixed first?
We are a Shopify studio. The audit is free; the fix is yours to make — or ours to ship.
