01 · The brief
What the store had to do.
Perfume is the hardest product to sell online because the one thing that matters cannot be shown. Two things carry the sale instead: writing that reads like the scent, note by note, and a low-risk way to try before committing to a full bottle.
Add a brand shipping to the US, the UK and Canada, and each market has to feel native — its own currency, spelling and delivery promise — without maintaining three separate stores.
02 · What we built
The work.
Note-by-note perfume pages
Each fragrance page is structured around its notes rather than a single paragraph. Top, heart and base are stored as structured content on the product, so the page renders them consistently, they can be styled as a composition rather than prose, and they stay intact when the copy team edits one line.
A four-slot sample-set builder
Samples are how people commit. The builder lets a shopper fill four slots from the sample range and adds the set as one line, so the cart shows a set, not four loose items, and the price logic stays in one place.
Three markets on one store
US, UK and Canada run as Shopify Markets on a single store: one catalogue, market-specific pricing and currency, and hreflang so each version is indexed for its own country instead of competing with the others.
03 · What's live
What you can check today.
As of September 2026 the store serves US, UK and Canadian versions from one catalogue (en, en-GB and en-CA in its hreflang), lists around 100 fragrances, samples and car fragrances across roughly 70 collections, and runs subscriptions and reviews alongside the theme work.
