01 · The brief
What the store had to do.
A Gulf jewellery brand selling to Arabic and English speakers. Right-to-left is not “translate the strings”: the whole layout mirrors — navigation, galleries, sliders, product forms — or the Arabic version looks broken to the people it is for. And jewellery is browsed by shape and occasion at least as much as by category.
02 · What we built
The work.
English and Arabic side by side
Both languages run on one store through Shopify Markets, with the Arabic version declared in hreflang as its own page rather than a toggle. Content is translated per product, so names and descriptions read as written, not machine-flipped.
A full right-to-left layout
The Prestige base was reworked with logical CSS properties so that margins, icons, carousels and form layouts mirror when the direction flips. The test is simple: an Arabic reader should not be able to tell which version came first.
A shop-by-shape browser
A visual entry point that lets shoppers browse by the shape of the piece — pear, round, marquise — alongside the usual categories, because that is how people actually look for a ring or an earring.
03 · What's live
What you can check today.
As of September 2026 the store runs English and Arabic versions (en and ar in its hreflang), prices in Kuwaiti dinar, and lists around 90 pieces across 13 collections — earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets — with reviews on product pages.
