Shopify design & development for fashion and accessories brands

Fashion and accessories sell on the moment: a drop, a colourway, a campaign — and on being there when the customer is, which is on a phone, in a hurry. The store has to handle sell-outs gracefully (wishlist, restock alerts), make packs and multiples obvious, and look identical whether the customer is in Sydney, London or Los Angeles.

GooGoGoGo designs and builds Shopify stores for fashion, bags, eyewear, activewear and merch brands: theme builds and rebuilds, drop mechanics, regional storefronts with geo-routing, bundles and gift logic, and phone layouts designed on their own grid rather than reflowed from desktop.

What a fashion store has to get right

The catalogue changes weekly; the storefront has to keep up without a developer in the loop.

  • Phone first, genuinely. Most fashion traffic is mobile. A phone layout designed as its own composition beats a desktop layout squeezed down, every time.
  • Sell-outs that keep the customer. Wishlist, back-in-stock alerts and clear restock messaging turn a missed colourway into a return visit instead of a lost one.
  • Drops and campaigns the team can run. Timed launches, campaign sections and lookbooks the marketing team controls from the theme editor.
  • Multiples and packs made obvious. Socks, basics and merch sell in bundles. Tier pricing and gift thresholds need to be visible on the page and in the cart.
  • Regions without drift. Regional storefronts or Markets with local currency, duties and delivery promises — and one codebase so the brand does not fork.
  • Search and filtering that finds the item. Colour, size, fit and material filters that match how people actually describe what they want.

How we build it

We build the storefront as a system the brand’s own team runs, and we test it on real phones.

  • Independent mobile design. ParanCrafts was designed at 375 pixels as its own stage, with desktop matched to the design file property by property.
  • Drop and campaign mechanics. Timed collections, countdowns and archive states so scarcity is real and the shop still reads as a shop between drops.
  • Regional storefronts, one codebase. Poppy Lissiman runs four regional stores on one customised Dawn base with geo-redirect, an override and multi-currency.
  • Bundles and gift logic. Tiered bundles and an in-cart gift picker with a progress meter, as built for Viva Barre — value visible before checkout.
  • A first concept before any deposit. You see a design direction before committing to a build.

When this is not the right fit

If you are launching a first collection with a handful of styles, start on a configured theme and put the budget into photography and product. We are the right partner when the catalogue, the regions or the drop mechanics have outgrown what settings can do.

Frequently asked questions

Can you set up regional storefronts with geo-redirect?

Yes. Poppy Lissiman runs four regional storefronts on a shared theme with geo-redirect, an override that is remembered, multi-currency and click & collect. Crawlers are never redirected, so each store keeps its own index.

Do you build wishlist and back-in-stock features?

Yes, both are standard in our fashion builds, either through well-integrated apps or built into the theme, depending on what the store already runs.

How do you handle drops and limited releases?

As timed collections with real open and close states. Valfré’s Print Shop runs as a scheduled drop while the archive stays live between releases.

Can the marketing team run campaigns without a developer?

That is the point of the build. Campaign sections, lookbooks and homepage sequences are theme-editor controlled; we hand over documentation and a walkthrough.

What does a fashion store build cost?

Focused work in the $500–1.5k band, a tailored storefront in $1.5k–4k, full strategy, design and development at $4k+. Scope is set on a free first call.

Do you work with brands outside Europe?

Yes. Client stores on this site are based in Australia, New Zealand, the US, the Gulf, Japan and Europe. We work remotely and reply within 24 hours.
