Shopify pixel and Conversions API hardening

Fixed scope, fixed price — from $299. Larger custom builds start at €1,000 — see hire a Shopify studio or start a project.

We go inside your Shopify setup, fix the signal path and prove the browser and server events arrive once — not zero times, not twice.

01 What it costs

Three fixed prices, published

These are the only three prices for this service. Each is a fixed scope agreed in writing before any work starts, and each is priced in US dollars regardless of your store’s own currency.

TierPriceWhat it covers
Pixel Fix$299Verify and repair one client-side pixel plus cart-event conflicts, on one ad platform.
CAPI Hardening$499Adds server-side events — Meta Conversions API, TikTok Events API or GA4 Measurement Protocol — with event_id deduplication and a consent-mode check.
COD Funnel Care$799Multi-platform hardening, a real return-to-origin measurement from your order history, and first-month monitoring.

Stacking extra platforms or extra pixels beyond the agreed tier is handled as a written change order, not an invoice surprise.

If what you actually need is a storefront build, a custom Shopify app or a platform migration, that is a different kind of engagement with a different shape — those start at €1,000 and are quoted per project on hire a Shopify studio.

02 What you get back

A working signal path, not another slide deck

Stack diagnosisPixel, tag manager, server-side and consent gaps mapped before any change.
Official-channel configurationMeta CAPI, TikTok Events API or GA4 server-side using the right first-party path.
Event deduplicationBrowser and server events share a stable event_id so conversions count once.
Evidence packTest Events / DebugView proof, before-and-after report and a handoff checklist.

03 Why proof is the product

Turning “unknown” into proof

Nobody can confirm server-side event delivery by reading a storefront from the outside. Our own free scanner, PixelProbe, deliberately reports that check as unknown rather than inventing a pass or a fail — and that honest gap is exactly what this engagement closes.

The way it gets closed is authorised access plus each platform’s own debugging tools: Meta Events Manager Test Events, TikTok’s event debugger, GA4 DebugView. Screenshots of those tools showing your events arriving, and arriving once, are part of what you are buying.

  • Official-channel setup. Server events go through the platform’s documented first-party path, not a scraped workaround.
  • Event-ID deduplication. The same conversion seen twice — once in the browser, once from the server — is collapsed into one.
  • Test Events evidence. Delivery is demonstrated in the ad platform’s own debugger, not asserted in a report.
  • Consent-mode check. Regional consent behaviour is verified so valid events are not silently discarded.

04 Scope

What is in, and what is deliberately out

Fixed price only works if both sides know where the line is. In scope:

  • Verifying that the events you rely on actually fire on the platform you advertise with.
  • Finding and clearing cart and checkout event conflicts — several apps competing for the same event, or firing it twice.
  • Configuring server-side conversion reporting and wiring event_id deduplication between browser and server.
  • Checking consent handling so compliant behaviour does not quietly delete valid conversions.

Out of scope, on purpose:

  • Running your ads. Media buying and creative are somebody else’s job.
  • Promising a ROAS or conversion-rate number. We promise correct signals; the auction is not ours to promise.
  • Getting a payment gateway approved. We never promise to obtain a merchant account for anyone.
  • Rebuilding your theme or pages. That is storefront work — a separate studio engagement.

05 Cash on delivery

Selling cash on delivery?

COD storefronts fail in their own specific way: the order is placed through a COD form rather than Shopify’s standard checkout, so the purchase event can be missed entirely — and the return-to-origin rate quietly eating the margin is usually unmeasured.

The same three tiers apply, with COD-specific work described on COD funnel and tracking repair.

Frequently asked questions

Can you guarantee my ROAS goes up?

No. We guarantee correct firing, correct deduplication and verifiable delivery — not an ad-platform outcome nobody controls.

Can a public scan confirm CAPI?

No one can confirm server delivery from storefront code alone. The paid audit uses authorized access and platform Test Events to prove it.

Does this depend on my tracking app?

No. We work from Shopify’s event model and the platform’s official channels, so the implementation stays vendor-agnostic.

What if my project is bigger than these three tiers?

These three are fixed-scope, fixed-price engagements starting at $299. Anything larger — a storefront build, a custom Shopify app, a migration — is quoted separately as a studio engagement starting at €1,000.
