What is this Shopify store actually built out of?
One pass over the public pages, read the way a browser is handed them: the theme it names itself, the app vendors whose code is loading, the tracking and consent stack, page builders, structured data and how the front end is written. It is an inventory, not a grade.

What this checks
- Whether the storefront is actually served to the public, or sits behind a password page or a site-wide noindex
- The theme the page names itself as — name, Theme Store id, schema version
- Which app vendors have code loading on the public pages (loading, which is not the same as installed)
- The tracking and consent stack visible in the page source
- Page builders, and which of the sampled pages they render
- Structured data: which schema types are on the page and which are not
- How the front end is written: custom elements, ES modules, responsive images, lazy loading
FAQ
Does this tell me which apps the store has installed?
No, and the wording in the report is careful about it. We can see which vendors' code a public page loads. An app that was removed often leaves its assets and snippets behind, and an app that only runs in the admin or the checkout leaves nothing on the storefront at all. The merchant's app list lives in an admin we have no access to.
What is the number at the top actually measuring?
How much of this front end is plain, portable Shopify — as opposed to third-party code a rebuild would have to carry over or re-create. It is not a quality grade. A store full of apps can be a store full of revenue; it is just a longer migration.
What does it not cover?
Everything that is not a public page. We never open the checkout, the thank-you page, the order status page, the admin or any logged-in view, and we do not execute JavaScript — so widgets and pixels that only appear after scripts run are invisible to us. Those sections say 'could not tell' rather than guessing, and the report lists which sub-checks completed and which did not.
